Lowry - Early Summer (5-week Course)

Service Description

The Lowry classes are themed around a specific piece of famous art work or interesting object which the children will examine to stimulate their own work. They will question what they see and work towards creating a meaningful piece of their own by carrying out a series of shorter tasks. They have the chance to work in a wide range of materials over the weeks and to develop their planning and designing skills. The classes are linked to the school curriculum and include familiar topics such as family & friends, home and food which enables the young artists to make connections to their everyday lives. There are also some age appropriate toys and books available in case they need a little break between tasks. The venue has plenty of space to socially distance plus cleaning materials to keep everyone safe and the 45 minute class gives enough time to make progress and keep little hands busy!
