Picasso - Late Autumn (5-week Course)

Service Description

The Picasso classes provide a range of well-known art work and objects for the children to study and analyse as part of the creative process. They experiment in a range of media and also work on their drawing skills and then link all of this together to create their own original pieces. Themes covered in these classes include ancient cultures, the natural world and planets and these themes link closely to the school curriculum. This overlap will help children to make links between new and existing knowledge and to plan meaningful pieces of art work. The young artists have the opportunity to work in a range of materials to give them new experiences and prepare them for secondary school. There is plenty of space in the venue to distance safely plus cleaning materials for regular sanitising. The one hour class gives plenty of time for trying new things and for improving existing skills!
