Sargent- Late Winter (6-week Course)

Service Description

The Sargent art classes are linked to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum and qualifications such as Btec and G.C.S.E. Art & Design but are also suitable for those who are not studying art at school but who want to carry on enhancing their skills or to build a portfolio. Famous art works and interesting objects are the inspiration for their work and the young artists use their research to influence them. They work in a range of media through different tasks towards planning and developing their own pieces. Drawing skills underpin all of their work and there will are many opportunities to work from primary sources to give their work more authenticity. There are also plenty of art books available to support their studies and lots of space and cleaning products in the venue to socially distance and stay safe. The 75 minute class gives lots of time for focus and refining the work to give good quality outcomes!
