Matisse - Late Autumn (3-week Course)

Service Description

In the Matisse classes children study a piece of art or interesting object in order to make connections between what they see and what they are going to do in their own work. They are encouraged to work on their drawing skills and then to build on these by experimenting with different media and materials. These tasks develop towards creating their own piece of work which ties all of their new experiences and knowledge together. The themes of the art works studied include other countries, historical figures and nature which link to the school curriculum. There is plenty of space in the venue to socially distance and lots of cleaning materials to keep everyone safe and the 50 minute lesson gives plenty of time to learn those important new skills!
